Maps and Records is set up like a library and many of our customers conduct their own research.
Upon arriving, please sign in and discuss your Stanford project relationship with our Client and Office Service Representative. Please see below for information about what you should bring with you.
Our Client and Office Service Representative is available to assist with document research and copying options, from 9am to noon and 1pm to 4pm, Monday through Friday. She can help with on-line searches of the archive database using our Search Tool, as well as provide an introduction to additional Maps and Records staff resources available to you.
Our Client and Office Service Representative will coordinate with our reprographics vendors to pick up and deliver large-quantity copy orders. A variety of billing and payment options are available for both University and off-campus customers, which may vary with the vendor selected. All our vendors accept a Rapid Purchase Order (RPO) for direct billing to your University account; or you can choose to provide a departmental or personal credit card either at the time the request is made or before the prints are delivered. Please contact our Client and Office Service Representative to find out more about these options.
Request forms are also available if you are in need of Stanford campus base map data or floor plans in electronic form. (See also Data Requests).
