Museum Way parking

Effective Monday, May 12, 2008:

• Due to local construction-related 'A' parking displacements, the southeast section of Museum Way 'C' parking (indicated by blue asterisk on map below) will be converted permanently to 'A' parking. 'C-Carpool' parking will be relocated to the northeast section.

'C' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Lasuen @ Arboretum
• (2) Track House lot [L-95]
• (3) Varsity lot [L-97]
• (4) Maples lot [L-93]
• (5) 655 Serra east lot [L-92]
• (6) PS-6 (expected to open in June 2008)

Wilbur south parking lot [L-62]

Effective June 2008:

• Wilbur south parking lot [L-62] will be closed for construction, and Wilbur-Stern temp lot will be closed permanently
• Parking structure 6 [PS-6] is scheduled to open beforehand and will provide alternative 'A', 'C', and 'EA' parking

'EA / ES / C' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Wilbur east lot [L-63]
• (2) Bowdoin Street
• (3) Cowell @ Bowdoin lot [L-65]

Note: Parking Structure 6 [PS-6] will not have 'ES' permit parking

Wilbur-Stern temporary parking lot

Effective June 2008:

• Wilbur-Stern temporary parking lot will be permanently closed, and Wilbur south lot (L-62) will close temporarily
• Parking Structure 6 (PS-6) is scheduled to open beforehand and will provide alternative 'A', 'C', and 'EA' parking

• (1) Parking Structure 6 [PS-6]
• (2) Stern Annex Lot [L-73]
• (3) Escondido Road

Memorial Way parking

Effective Monday, May 5, 2008:

• 'A' parking on Memorial Way will be changed to Visitor parking (  P  )
• Carpool spaces will be relocated to Galvez Street

• (2) Lasuen Street ('A')

• (4) 651 Serra West parking lot [L-90] ('A')

Memorial parking lot [L-83]

Effective Monday, May 5, 2008:

• Memorial parking lot [L-83] will be closed for construction
• Visitor parking (  P  ) will be shifted to Memorial Way. Other Visitor parking alternatives include Track House lot [L-95] and Varsity lot [L-97]
• Service Vehicle parking ( SV ) alternatives include Memorial Way and all Visitor and 'A' permit parking areas (  A  )
• Disabled parking (  DP  ) alternatives also include Memorial Way and all Visitor and 'A' parking areas

'A' parking alternatives include (see map above):

• (1) Galvez Street ('A')
• (2) Lasuen Street ('A')
• (3) Roth Way ('A')
• (4) 651Serra West parking lot [L-90] ('A')

Beckman/Clark parking lot [L-15]

Major parking displacement scheduled for March 1, 2008

• Construction will displace all remaining parking in front of Beckman, Fairchild and Clark centers

• Disabled parking - Parking Structure 1 (at Roth and Campus), [L-9] Quarry Extension lot, Parking Structure 4 (at Pasteur), MSOB lot and along Welch Road (indicated by blue asterisks on map below)
• Visitor pay parking - Parking Structure 1 and Gates lot (indicated by  P  on map below)
• Service Vehicle parking - [L-9] Quarry Extension lot at Roth Way

[L-9] Quarry Extension parking lot

Effective March 1, 2008: parking at the [L-9] Quarry extension lot at Roth Way will be redesignated to accommodate more regional service vehicle parking, loading, and delivery needs. All 'A-Carpool' parking will be displaced permanently to [PS-1].

'A' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Parking Structure 1 [S-1] ('A')
• (2) Roth Way ('A')
• (3) [L-3] Quarry South Lot ('A')

Munger Graduate Residences construction project

The Munger Graduate Residences project is underway, which will, when completed, provide housing for 600 graduate students near the center of the Stanford campus. While every effort is being made to alleviate potential parking shortages during the project, campus parking as well as transportation will be heavily affected in the surrounding areas. On a similar schedule, a 1,200-space parking structure will be constructed under Wilbur Field.

Law School [L-55] and Stern [L-57] parking lots

Effective May 7, 2007 construction permanently displaced both parking lots. Please be careful to observe all posted signs.

'A' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Vaden lot [L-61]
• (2) Gould lot [L-59]
• (3) Mayfield Ave. ('SO/A')
• (4) Tresidder lot [L-39]
• (5) Florence Moore southeast lot [L-40] ('SO/A')
• (6) Wibur lot [L-62]

'EA' parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (6) Stern Annex lot [L-73]
• (7) Escondido Rd.
• (8) Toyon lot [L-75]
• (9) Wilbur lots [L-62] and [L-63]

• NOTICE: On September 1, the parking lot between Stern and Wilbur Halls will return to a student only, 'EA' resident lot. The parking lot can be accessed from Escondido Road or from Campus Drive East to Bowdoin Lane.
  
  Please note that the intersection of Campus Drive East and Arguello Mall will remain closed until further notice.
   
• The Marguerite stop on the north side of Campus Drive at Alvarado Row remains closed. Alternative westbound stops on Campus Drive are at Bowdoin Street, Arguello Mall, and Mayfield Avenue.

Tresidder parking lot [L-39] and Mayfield Avenue parking

Construction has permanently displaced some parking in the area.

'A' Parking alternatives include:

• Mayfield Avenue
• Lagunita Drive
• Lomita Drive
• Lot [L-40] between Florence Moore and Theta Delta Chi (675 Lomita)
• Boat House lot [L-35]

'C' Parking alternatives include (see map at left):

• (1) Lomita Drive by the Knoll ('SO/C')
• (2) Knoll front driveway ('SO/C')
• (3) Knoll rear driveway ('SO/C')

Notice: Effective September 4, 2007, valet attendant-assisted parking is now available for 'A' permit holders only, Monday – Friday, excluding holidays. This service will cease upon the opening of Parking Structure 6, scheduled to be completed April 2008.

Environment & Energy Building (former site of the Ginzton parking lot)

On Thursday, June 1, 2006, the Ginzton parking lot closed permanently to make way for construction of the Environment & Energy Building.

Alternative 'A' parking is available across the street in Parking Structure 2. In addition to existing 'A' spaces on the Lower Level and Level 1, new 'A' spaces were designated on the ramp to Level 2.

Carpool parking has been relocated to the second level of Parking Structure 2.

• (1) Parking Structure 2 (on levels 2 through 5)
• (2) Panama Lot
• (3) Jordan Quad Lot
• (4) Stock Farm Lot
